Front Garden wall build quotes?
I am looking for someone to give me an idea of how will it cost to build a front brick wall – measurements are: Front: 2.9m X 1m high, Side 1: 2.7m x 1m high and Side 2: 2.6m x 1m high. Any ideas how much labour and material costs this will be if I went for a brick wall with ideally railings in between (the pillars). I am assuming it will be cheaper without the railings?
Alternatively, if u were to get hedges as an edging in place of a brick wall, where would you start?

This wall would require 1400+ bricks as it would need to be 9″ thick and also require a foundation to be dug to a depth of 9″ to 12″ and be reinforced and concrete poured to that depth.Costs of bricks vary from area to area and type of brick also.You could hire a contractor to do the work for you and he would in in turn hire a bricklayer to lay the bricks all of this would be in the price.You could be looking at up to 5k for this amount of work,with hedge it can go from £10-25 per unit of hedge and it’s recommended that you put 4-6 units per linear metre and should you want it thicker then that figure would double,so if you look through the yellow pages and ring around and get some quotes or ask some contractors to call around and give you a free estimate you would then be able to make a decision and go with the price you feel is the best and also ask them how long it would take ok,good luck.
