I have ordered one from a gardening magazine, but now im afraid to plant it !! I have heard very conflicting opinions online about it and wanted to know if anyone here has had any personal experience with one. Some say it depends on the area where you live , well i live in Ohio , and i have no clue haha.
oh and people say that it is a nuisance and a very invasive tree, and alot of times can end up just looking .. crappy ( for lack of a better word )
Many States have it listed as an invasive weed. So I have a bad opinion of it. I think it is just something that got used because it was so plentiful. Maybe you can grow it without proplems. Call you local Ag Extension office. The State University usually has good info.
But they are s’posed to be pretty. Just grow too fast and have too much seedlig success.

I read in the answers to someone elses flea question that someone used beneficial nematodes that went in the garden hose, they said they baught it from a gardening magazine, I have done a google search and have found nothing. If someone could advise me of what magazine or company, anything would be great.
These fleas are driving me nuts.
I googled “flea and nematodes” and got this:
http://www.gardensalive.com/product.asp?pn=2779&sid=100308&eid=&bhcd2=1200521529
EDIT: beneficial nematodes certianly do work to eliminate fleas! They are just more expensive and have to be replenished fairly often.
You may also want to look into a product called Over n Out ant killer. It contains Fipronil (same active ingredient in Frontline) and can be purchased at lawn and garden stores (home depot, lowes, ect).
