GardenersCardiff answers:

Japanese Cuisine is my favourite. Japanese Food and diet is one of the healthiest in the world. The Japanese Cooking technique is to preserve and enhance the natural flavour of ingredients. Their respect for using ingredients in season means produce is fresh and full of flavour.

Paul asks…

Perfect choice for Republicans…?

There is no determined leader in the field of Conservative candidates.

None of them can play to the Christian base while being enough of a Washington outsider to garner the growing Tea Party support.

Also there needs to be a Candidate that can pick up the Independent votes and maybe even some liberal votes that Obama has neglected. It would help tremendously if this candidate were from the South too.

It has to be Jimmy Carter! He’s allowed another term and there has never been a more Southern, Christian, Strong Values, Washington Outsider as Jimmy Carter. What do you say Republicans?

By your own requisites hopefully we can elect Jimmy again, or at least someone entirely like him.

…Or, maybe Republicans have just strayed off the beaten path.

GardenersCardiff answers:

Barack Obama will get the GOP nomination.

Nancy asks…

British People: How do you do tea time? What are the foods involved?

I grew up around all races and cultures and I incorporated Latino and Asian culture into my own African American Cherokee Haitian culture and I also adore European culture, esp. the British culture.I even speak with a British accent.Well sometimes it goes away.
I want to start incorporating tea time into my schedule. I moved into my first place last year and I am getting the hang of being on my own.Now that I am doing a little better financially,I want to start having tea time like in England. How is high tea/tea time done in England? What foods are involved? Do you eat biscuits, scones, etc. with your tea? Can you eat a Little Debby with your tea? Is it ok to use ice tea during tea time sometimes? Can I watch tv while doing tea time?
Hannah I know more about England than you think and happen to have British friends and some of them do have tea time. And I know about England’s modern society.I read, watch Travel channel specials about England and I have British friends.Get over it.

GardenersCardiff answers:

I’m not entirely sure what it is that your friends say they do, but I’m British and, as with the other answers above, neither I nor anyone I know has tea time anymore… Some people have a cup of tea in the middle of the afternoon like Americans would grab a coffee but that’s about it.

Some of the higher end hotels in London have high tea essentially to make a fortune out of gullible tourists who, for some reason, are under the impression that we do still have tea time. Somewhere like the Ritz will serve finger sandwiches, scones and cakes along with a selection of teas. If you go on their website they have a menu.

And as I’m sure your vast knowledge of England has taught you (!), ice tea isn’t really that popular in this country and I have never even heard of a ‘Little Debby’ so I’d say they’re out as far as tea time is involved.
