I know you have to put quite a bit of money into direct sales companies like Party Lite, Home&Garden, Pampered Chef, etc. Is it really worth it after you pay for the starter kit, catalogs, postage, and gifts at shows?
WIth anything you have to spend money to make money. I believe in the long run it is definitely worth it though. My wickless candle company’s starter kit is only 99$ and you get the catalogs, order forms, 80 Scent Testers, a warmer, wax bar, car candle, room spray and more!
Our shipping is free on party orders of 150$ or more, which is very easy to do. And even if you don’t get 150$ in sales the shipping is only 10% of the order. WIth shipping costs these days that is an awesome deal.
I’d say find something that you are interested in already- if you like to cook try Pampered Chef, if you love to decorate and scenting your home try a candle company. This way the rewards are even greater, it’s much easier to sell something that you believe in!!!
Hope this Helps. If you’d like more info on my wickless company just send me an email!!
Good Luck.

Don’t say Better Home and Gardens. I’m looking for a subscription that has decor like the rooms in the Potterybarn catalog.

I will be ordering from a catalog, such as spring hill or mich. bulb. so they say the plant would be shipped bare root. sometimes i am greatly disappointed with the stuff i get from garden catalogs. any suggestions where else to purchase such things. thanks
I like Michigan bulb because they have a good guarantee policy. I ordered a corner grass garden from them this spring and 2 of the plants arrived dead. It only took 1 email to get them replaced. They have good prices and great customer service. Burpee on the other I will never order from again. Customer service stinks. They also do not package the plants well. The damage was extensive and they do not answer emails or give complete refunds. I have also gotten great plants off Ebay
