Should you have the right to grow food in your front yard?
With not having the wages or jobs to afford the value of fresh vegetables who not? The front lawn came from Europe which was a status symbol that you are rich enough that you don`t have to grow your own food like the rest of the peasants. There is now a higher demand for healthier living in Capitalism so why not meet that demand and sell some food. To outlaw it would be a attack on local Capitalism.

Half my backyard is a vegitable garden – about a quarter acre of food.. I usually just give it away to neighbors and family.. I just do it for the fun and the superior taste and nutrition of non genetically altered food pulled from tired over monocropped ground.

I know where you are coming from. People who grow their own food, own guns, and are self sufficient. (Not dependent on the government) could be considered terrorist. We are already having trouble getting seeds that are not genetically altered, so that seeds that are saved will not grow.

Do you grow your own food?
I’m from Los Angeles and I moved to Utah. I found that I have an Apple tree, peach tree and a cherry tree. I found everyone has lots of fruit trees and grows vegetables and melons every year. I just ate a peach and an apple for breakfast from my very own tree! I’ve never done that before in 40 plus years of my life! It’s SO rewarding… Now if I can figure out how to get a cow back there…. I could go for some BBQ ribs about now.

We have tomatoes, beans, and cucumbers. I’m not much of an outdoor girl so that’s about all I’m willing to handle. My MIL grows everything and has the best fruit tress. I have a bag of apples, pears, and peaches right now she sent me. My dad has cows so if I hanker for a hunk o’ beef, that would be an option for me. Glad you enjoyed your bounty!
