What makes cigarettes bad or cause cancers?I don’t smoke, but I was just trying get what you think?
Is it the actual burning and inhaling of the smoke?
Is it the nicotine in tobacco that’s bad?Could they not some how get the nicotine out of them and would it taste bad to people if they did?
I know the nicotine part is the addictive part so if they removed it wouldn’t people not have the habit anymore.
Are people that grown their own better off than the people that go buy a pack the store?
Well the reason cigs cause cancer is because there are thousands of trace amount chemicals in them that dont agree witht the human body sometimes.
The burning and inhaling of the smoke is a chemical change of what the cigs are made of and that in itself is harmful.
Most smokers’ taste buds in their mouths do not function properly, so taste is not so much of and issue.
Nicotine is addictive, some say more then heroin, that is not the only reason people smoke though. It is relaxing and habitual.
If people were to grow their own, i would suggest a healthier, non-addictive and more relaxing plant than tobacco, i think you know what i mean

I live in the United States, and I really would like to get into the premium tobacco industry. Possibly the cigar industry or the pipe industry. I was just wondering if it is legal to grow (or try to grow, ha ha) tobacco at my residence. I figure I can get some basics down before I attempt to get into the industry.
Thanks!
I grow tobacco at my house. It’s completely legal to grow it but not to sell it. You can however sell whole leaf tobacco so long as the midrib is not removed. Surprisingly there is a market for such a thing. Roll your own tobacco users often seek out whole leaf tobacco as do some pipe smokers. It is unfortunate that there are few people who make their own cigars these days.
The good old USDA will even supply you with free seeds if you are willing to jump through a few hoops. It takes quite some time for tobacco seeds to grow large enough to plant outdoors so you had best get started right away.

For starters why is illegal to grow your own tobacco or buy from a chop shop, government don’t get taxes Okay, So the government supports tobacco companies knowing it kills people, smoking that is Okay, also knowing if they just smoked there own home grown tobacco they would have stuff all problems, Now they cry how much it costs the hospital’s to treat tobacco related illnesses, Well i say this i have smoked for 23 years a packet a day, how much tax have i paid u work it out and when i get sick well i think i have already paid my medical bill in taxes on the thing the government keeps wanting to tax higher to late RUDD we are already hooked mate YOUR A PRICK>

grow your own tobacco for personal use? Or is it one of those things you need a license or permit?
Thanks guys I searched it took awhile but I found in June some farmer started growing his own. As long as he uses it for himself it is legal.
Yes, it’s legal. You can buy tobacco seeds on eBay. TrixieL’s mother needs to take some refresher courses.

My question is if I grow my own tobacco with no additives just a natural life cycle will it still be bad for my health or will there be a significant difference as opposed to comercial cigarettes, also are Swiss sweets and black and molds bad for your health? Better or worse than a cig? And dont say do bud cause Its illegal but the day it isn’t ima be on it 100%.
Still bad for you ? YES, As bad for you as the commercial products, an emphatic NO By smoking pure whole leaf tobacco, (properly dried and shredded) you would no longer be smoking all the additives, From arsenic to carpet glue, not to mention the fillers. It is proper to de-stem the leaf and throw away the sticks, The commercial manufacturer throws away nothing, kind of like grinding up your seeds and stems as Filler ?? Anyway if you ever try a pure tobacco cigarette, it will cure you of the national brands, Tastes better, smokes better, and YES – BETTER FOR YOU. Not to mention better for you financially, works out to about $15.00 per carton for better smokes. Visit a tobacco shop and get some whole leaf, or visit www.wholesale-cigarette-tobacco.com and buy a pound, or call my TOBACCO dealer Mikey at 321-872- 5518 and ask him to explain Whole Leaf Tobacco to you.
RYO its not a cigarette it’s a movement
