Linda asks…

Do you think the world will end in 2012?

Tell your opinion and why you think that.

GardenersCardiff answers:

Neither the ancient or modern Mayans predicted this. They left that up to liars and fools in the USA, Belgium and a few other countries.

Very few people believe this, including those who are saying it will end. It is about profits, not prophets, marketing, not Mayans.

Stories of disaster or anything big in 2012 are nonsense promoted by gutter websites and gutter TV transmitters for one purpose, to make money from the sale of books, advertising, movie tickets, guns, disaster shelters and survival supplies, or to get people into dangerous religious cults. Disaster in 2012 is 2% superstition and the the rest is direct lies.

The Mayan calendar does not end, nor did it predict anything from 2012, and not warning signs either. The lies that there are predictions are the bases for the lies that anything will happen at all. Since the basis of the predictions are a few lies, then all the predictions fail, no matter what other “evidence” is trotted out to support them.

In all cases in the 2012 material the other “evidence” is also lies. Here’s a short list of the lies, the list does not cover everything because there are too many different lies and some of them contradict each other.

Planet X exists, Nibiru exists

Solar flares reaching the Earth

Pole shifts, geographic or magnetic

Scientists predict it

Planetary line-ups, galactic line-ups

Photon belt

Earth’s core heating up

Nostradamus, anyone or anything else predicted it.

Do YOU think the world is going to end in 2012?

I don’t. Call me crazy if you want.

You’re not crazy.

Whether to send a Christmas card to Dave and family or just phone them.

Sandra asks…

Want to send something special to a man I’ve been dating for 2 months.?

I’ve been dating a man for 2 months and I am very excited about him. He is great! I’m very optimistic that this will turn into something very special. I want to send something nice to his job but I’m not really sure of what to send, I was checking out the edible arrangements or flowers….any ideas? He is a detective and Mondays are usually a very hard day for him. I just thought it would be nice if i sent something to his job tomorrow just to start his day off with a smile.

GardenersCardiff answers:

I think your instinct is a good one. My man is good with plants, so I have sent him a couple of plants and garden gnomes to go with the ones he has at work. I did send flowers once and he was so excited that he took a pic and posted it on Facebook – which he never does. The plants are still alive and the pics are still posted and we are engaged.

An edible arrangement sounds right to me in reading what you wrote. Flowers are fun, but they can embarrass some men. Make sure your guy is ready for what you are going to send. Or get him a little picnic ready and meet him at lunch if you can. Chocolates are also a nice find. I once sent chocolate ammo, a chocolate gun, and a chocolate grenade. This has to be shipped though. Maybe something to think about for another time. (Also got posted on FB.)
