I live in a loft and I have a common area that has a huge skylight. I want to ask my next door neighbor if he’d consider growing a garden with me since we share the top floor. Do you think we’d have luck? When it is sunny, we get tons of light. What veggies grow best indoors?

The easiest would be tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers on a trellis, carrots and potatoes in large size pots, egg plant ,***** strawberries****

The best way to start growing a garden?
In order to save some money on groceries, we are thinking about growing some of our own vegetables. What is the best way to go about starting a garden? What should we try planting first?

Get some seed catalogs. Look through it and pick seeds for the vegetables that your family likes to eat that will grow in your zone. There will also be a zone map in the catalog that will show what zone you live in.

Have you found a source of spares for older Challenge Xtreme garden tools sold by Argos? Instant obsolesence?
Once deleted from catalogue, it seems impossible to get spares. Argos are not helpful, even when it concerns parts that I would regard as consumables. i.e.strimmer spring !
