handicapped gardening?
I used to be an avid gardener with raised beds and tillers and such. But now my mobility is limited. I’ve tried containers but they dry out so fast if I miss a day of watering stuff dies. Any one know websites, books or clubs I live in zone 6 ?

Gardening in Moncton?
I’m considering a move to the Moncton area. I’m looking at houses on the eastern coast about 30 mins away.
I’m wondering about the weather. I currently live in Northwestern Ontario where winters are long and cold (-30, -40). Our growing season is very short. Up here we’re lucky if our last frost is by June 1st and then summers are still cold and yucky. Gardening is over by mid September. How cold is the Moncton area? How long is the growing season?
Is it much colder than Nova Scotia? I also looked there for housing but am not finding quite what I”m looking for.
Anything you can tell me about the weather and gardening there would be great. I need to make this decision soon so I can put my house up for sale.

Moncton is in the 4B garden zone, which means you will have to plant perennials which will tolerate temps down to -31. This would be similar to Southern Ontario areas like Collingwood, for example.

Not sure how it would compare to NS. I would move to Moncton for one reason only. You would be only an hour away from Funday Nat. Park and Kouchibouguac. (Say that one five times fast!)
