Your Questions About Gardening

Donna asks…

What do you think of this song I wrote?

Although not quite finished I wanted to post this as to see what others thought of this,

For starters the chords for this song are so far,

Verses: E major, E minor, D major, D major with a suspended fourth

Chorus: E major, A minor, E major, A minor, G major, G minor, F major then repeat and go back to the chords for the verses

Lyrics:

The World Is Not Enough:

Verse one:
I don’t believe in mass confusions
Is this all their really is
I don’t know right from wrong
Can you please show me how
And don’t you know
That love is not enough
To save us from ourselves
And all you’ve got
Is all we’ll ever need

Verse two:
I dont believe in a today
For all we are is yet to be
I don’t know
How far we’ve come
All the dirt
Outweighs the gold
Build me a castle
In fallen grace
Our lonely hours
Sculpt to solace

Verse three:
I don’t believe in illusion
Our hearts are hard easy to find
I don’t know what war today
Has been fought and truly won
Tell me again
Why are we here
This worlds a shell
A place called home

Verse four:
I don’t believe in fixed chaos
The fires’ll burn to endless ends
I don’t know the peace in store
My home lies their
Easy and undisturbed
In my palms
Watch the rivers flow
And put on the shows
For us to greet

Verse five:
I don’t believe in constant rates
Lifes a flux made easy to believe
I don’t know my own self
In the fields barren and sown
A garden of trees
The only green
Our coming of age
And final grace

Chorus:
The world is not enough
Time waits in luxury
The world is not enough
Can’t you see it true
It’s not enough

I should note that this is a dark sort of electric folk song and what do you think of the lyrics and the chord changes overall, and yes I will eventually add more chord changes to the verses

Mark asks…

How can i make this essay better??? 10 POINTS BEST ANSWER!!!!?

How can I make this essay better? It would be nice if you could just copy paste and make the corrections. I just need help with sentence tructure….etc. first answer with this formath get’s 10 points!!!

“Ricki the valiant, the true, Ticki with the eyeballs of flame!” Darzee, the bird, serenaded to Ricki, a small mongoose who is filled from head to toe with braveness, curiosity, and dedication. Who would have ever thought that a small animal could be a savior? It all started when Ricki was washed up onto the garden path of the estate, where Teddy, the boy who lived on the estate, found him. In this short story “Ricki Ticky Tavi,” Ruyard Kipling expresses how Ricki uses his mongoose senses to defeat the terrible, evil creatures that lurk behind the bushes- Nag and Nagina, the 2 cobras. From making new friends, to making new foes, Ricki embarks on a new adventure that makes him realize that at times, you need to jeopardize your own life for others.
A mongoose is usually filled from the tip of their nose to toe with curiosity, and Ricki was a true mongoose. “For it is the hardest thing in the world to frighten a mongoose, for he is eaten head to toe with curiosity.” If it wasn’t for Ricki’s curiosity, would he have discovered whom Darzee, the bird, and Nag, the evil snake was? Would he have found Chachundra the muskrat and unearthed the duo’s plans? Would he have unmasked Nagina’s batch of eggs? Throughout the story, many more occurrences occur where Ricki’s curiousity shines through. For instance, in the night middle of the night, Ricki couldn’t sit still, so he went exploring around the night, where he came across Nag and Nagina. “For in the bathroom there were Nag and Nagina, discussing the plans for revenge.” This way, Ricki got to know what the devious snake duo was up to-, which made it easier to destroy them. You can clearly see how the mongoose’s curiosness helps him in life.
Throughout the story Ricky’s characteristics shine through. Even though he is eaten up head to toe with curiosity, he is also known for his dedication. Ricki could have easily quit trying to kill Nag and Nagina , but he kept going on. If it weren’t for Ricky, the world would be in despair and the cobras would have still been alive. From this, it is easy evident that Ricki has a great amount of valor in his heart. As the story runs on, the little mongoose strives to protect Teddy and his family. In the one dark night, when the 2 cobras were lurking around in the bathroom, Ricki heard them talking about plans on how to kill the family. “At the bathroom of the smooth plaster wall, there was a brick pulled to make a a sluice for the bath water, and Nag and Nagina were hissing outside.” If Ricky hadn’t heard this, then he wouldn’t have went to all lengths to protect the family.
His eyes burned with anger. Ricki had enough of Nag and Nagina. Another trait that Ruyard Kipling supplied Ricki with is bravery. He is filled from head to toe with courage, another mongoose trait. For instance, in the bathroom, Ricki ahd shown a great amount of bravery. “ Ricky Ticki tangled all over with rage. Should he strike on the neck, or the tail?” This obviously shows bravery- a great amount. If Ricki hadn’t bit Nag, then Nag would have still been around, tormenting everyone. Well Nag is gone, but what about Nagina? Ricki used his courage on Nagina too. By bribing Nagina, Ricki-Ticki got what he wanted and defeated the snakes for once and for all.
Through all the adventures Ricki’s been through, from making new friends, to defeating enemies, Ricki put his life in jepordy to protect his loved ones. This story just shows that at times, it is necessary to put your life in front of others.

GardenersCardiff answers:

Love how the begining traps you in. Beautiful work. Slow it sown a bit.
It’s so exotic. Bravery, fighting, honor, that’s my type of story.

In some of the parts Ricki was spelled with an I and in other parts it was spelled with an Y.

Suggestions:
Introduce the characters before you start talking right away, but don’t give very much information, keep it a mystery. I got really confused who the characters were. You need to use more detail.
When he overheard them you should have put dialog to “show” and not tell.

It was still good.
Made me want to keep reading.
