Quran 2:223
They ask about menstruation. Say ‘It is an indisposition. Keep aloof from women during their menstrual periods and do not approach them until they are clean again; when they are clean, have intercourse with them whence God enjoined you. God loves those that turn to Him in penitence and strive to keep themselves clean.
Women are your Fields; go, then, into your fields whence you please. Do good works and fear God. Bear in mind that you shall meet him.
Now does not say what you have written for one. Also this is about when your wife is having her period your not permitted to sleep with her nor she you. But when your wife is clean you are BOTH free to enjoy each other. Sex is a gift in marriage to enjoy for both husband and wife. God is saying without tending to a Field you yield no crops. Without being tender and taking care of your wife you yield nothing from her either. Do you get it? The more you look after your wife the more reward you have not only from her but from God.
Quran 2:28
Women shall with justice have rights similar to those exercised against them, although men have a staturs about women. God is mighty and wise.
Now sorry but what God says goes. That does not mean you are not treated equal in Islam you are but its very clear that although equal we are not the same. There are many of Gods laws for women that men dont have and you wont have a muslim man complaining about it, its just the way it is. Men and women although equal are different. Example can a man give birth? No. Also do you know in Islam that any money a woman earns is her own but her husbands money is for all the family? Do you know that her husband has no right to ask her for that money or what she does with it? Now would you hear a man saying thats not fair? No because in Islam we celebrate the differences we dont try to be the same we are clearly not. And as will all aspects of life there has to be someone who when the cookie crumbles makes the decision and that is where men being a status above you comes in. They are protectors and providers for the family and the family is so very important in Islam that is not just his wife and kids but his parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters so someone has to shoulder that and it lies with men. That is not to say women dont have a say they very much do. In fact most muslim women i know rule the home just like any other marriage. Husbands and wifes are so very precious to each other in Islam. You are your husbands greatest treasure and you are to be treated as such. Respect for women in Islam is second to none and i can say that because having lived as a non muslim for 33 years of my life i have plenty of experience of how it works as regarding respect and the non muslim man. I have brothers and cousins and uncles who are married and there wifes are always telling me they are jelous of me as my husband does so much and theres well, lets just say dont do so much. So you see although it does state a status above you that is not a bad thing.
Quran 2.282 Believers, when you contract a debt for a fixed price, put it in writing. Let a scribe write down for you with fairness; no scribe should refuse to write as God has taught him.

Quran 4.3
Give orphans the property which belongs to them. Do not exhange thier valuables for worthless things or cheat them of there possessions; for this would surely be a grievous sin. If you fear that you cannot treat orphans with fairness, then you may marry other women who seen good to you: two, three or four of them. But if you fear that you cannot maintain equality amoung them, marry one only.
The orphans are refering to female orphans ready to marry as way of arranged marriages at the time. If the man in question could not treat an orphaned female fairly dont marry one. Yes muslim men are permitted to marry up to 4 women but only if they can all be treated equally in every department. I know many, many muslims and have many muslim relatives and no not of a single one who has 2 wifes never mind 4. You have to remember in the time of the prophet many men died in battle and villages where women where left behind as widows or there finacee did not come home from battle. Where they to be widows and single all there lives? No it is better that a muslim man has 2 or 3 wives than let a sister in Islam be without a husband. Its not really relavent in 2008 plenty of muslim men to go round, Also its only if the first wife agree’s. And he has to have a valid reason for wanting a second wife its not so clear cut as it sounds or as easy. All the men i know family etc think one wife is more than enough lol.
Quran 4.11
A male shall inherit twice as much as a female. If there be more than two girls, they shall have two thirds of inheritance; but if there be only one, she shall inherit the half. Parents shall inherit a sixth each, if the deceased have a child; but if he leave no child and his parents be his heirs. His mother shall have a third. If he have brothers, his mother shall have a sixth payment of the legacy he may have bequeathed or any debt he may have owed.
You may wonder whether your parents of your child are more beeficial to you, But this is the law of God; surely God is all knowing and wise.
Yes it states the male shall inherit twice as much but what the woman inherits is all hers. She has a husband and if he inherits its the same as her brother etc. For her brother he many inherit twice as much but that money goes to all the brothers family and all of the deceased debts have to be paid with that too. None of what the women inherits goes to pay debts etc its all hers to do with what she likes and if her husband should be in the position of her brother as regards to recieving inheritance then she gets all the benifits and depts of her brother inlaws inheritance just like her brother does. So really the woman is the one who benifits most out of it all. Her husband is responsible for her family as is her brother for his. Its this way because men are responsible for so much more financially. Its very simple really and not degrading as suggested to women at all. If they are trying to imply it means a woman is less far from it.
Let me put it like this £100 inheritance brother £75 sister £25. That £25 is hers to do what she wishes with. Brother has to pay £40 debt of deceased leaving £35 he has 4 children and a wife to share that with. His sister has £25 to do with what she wishes its hers and does not have to share it with her husband and 4 children. Do you see?
Quran 4:15
If any woman commits a lewd act, call in four wintesses from among yourselves against them; if they testify to their guilt confine them to their houses till death overtakes then or till God finds another way for them.
Do you know that if someone has 4 people that can say they saw you committing a lewd act what that says about the person committing it? That it was in public, that the person committing the act was a person who did not care. If you dont care morally about your society as a whole and how the citizens in that community behave you have a big problem on your hands. Would you want your children to be walking to school and publically see people performs lewd acts? I know i wont. Does God say kill her? Beat her? Stone her? Put her in jail? No just confine her to her home until God finds another way for them. And as for the till death part do any of us know that this second is not our last? God is all merciful and all knowing. If 4 witnesses cannot be found then no one can do anything to her. So tell me are public lewd acts allowed by law in your country? I know they are not in mine the UK. So why is someone holding up Gods laws to you when there government laws are the same? Can people commit a lewd act in the park where your children play and not be punished? Ok then….

Treat them with kindess if you dislike them, it may well be that you dislike a thing which God has meant for your own abundant good.
Now it is saying it is unlawful for you to inherit women of your dead family against their will. If they dont want you to take over there affairs you cannot forcibly do so. You also have no right to tell them they cannot get remarried and you cannot force them to return any money of inheritance etc that you have given to them unless they are guilty of proven lewd acts. He is told by GOD he HAS to be kind to her and treat her with fairness even if he does not like her. It does not say what you have quoted that she can be inherited if guilty of lewd acts does it? No its refering to taking back money given to her.
4:20 If you wish to replace one wife with another, do not take from her the dowry you have given her even if it be a talent of gold. That would be improper and grossly unjust: for how can you take it back when you have lain with each other and entered into a firm contract.

Do they make a 1/2 11 nut? or M 12 2.00 nut? or cap nut(s)?
My mom ask me to find her a cap nut to replace one on some park style bench she has on the porch.
I went to the hardware store and the nuts and rod look like they are some unique very coarse thread on a 1/2″ diameter rod. They are too coarse for an M12 1.75 metric as well as the 1/2″ 13 NC ASE nut and bolt. I suspect this thing has some oddball threads made with pipe threading dies and is 1/2 11 NPT on a 1/2″ OD rod. You have got to love those Asian countries that make this stuff. It is not that bad a quality, but the parts are non standard. Its the importers like Walmart, or Home Depot I dislike for not at lest specifying the stuff be made with standard sized hardware, metric or SAE, I could care less which. It may be Japanese Industry Standard, or British (whatever their stuff is called). It looks like my dad probably swept up a $250 cap nut. Does anyone know of a 1/2 x 11 nut or M12 2.00 thread pitch? Do they know of some other standard from the UK, USSR, China, etc that this seems to fit? Next do they know who sells this stuff? Either of those would be pretty darn close. I am still suspecting this hardware is some goofy non standard crap made up with second hand machinery from who knows where. Does anyone have any ideas as to if there exists a 1/2 inch or M12 size cap nut or regular nut that I can use? My other options are 1/2″ threaded rod (looks like crap, and hard to make paint stick too) or threading some 1/2 ” rod back 40mm or a couple inches on each end. Either way I am out $12-$30 for a missing nut. I will go crawl around and look again, but I am sure its long gone, or in with a batch of 1/2 13 stuff waiting to make someone really mad on a later date. Been to Ace and they have no clue. Copper State is the same way, no ideas there either, but they supply some of the Ace bolt rooms/sections. Copper State is who supplies all the contractors I ever worked for. This bench may not be an import and may just be OLD. This spreader bar has 1/2″ or M12 diameter, and extra coarse threads. It looks like this bar was front force fed gimlet formed and not die cut. The thread’s outer diameter is larger than that of the bar stock. It could have been cast or forged that way too, but it looks extruded to me. I will agree with the old timers that old stove bolts had some weird 1 off a kind stuff. Old (prewar) cars are loaded with oddball stuff like 19/32nd head bolts, and tons of square head stuff. 19/32nds works for 15mm in a pinch. 25/32nds, I am not sure what that fits anymore. I think I had some old books with antique hardware used by rail road steam fitters and boiler makers. Its worth a shot. 1943 Machinist’s Hand book! Where to find, and buy
It may be a 1/2″ BSW or British Standard Whitworth thread that is 1/2 12 and not 1/2 11. I thoight 11 because that is the next size up used on 5/8″ bolts for SAE UNC. Maybe 7/16 has a 12 TPI. I never looked, nor have a seen many 7/16″ diameter bolts. Who has them? BAP? That used to stand for British Auto Parts was my understanding, and sold stuff for MG, Jaguar, and was also big on VW parts. Roll Royce? Hah! One place in town, and you had better have some money for those parts. I thought the $85 E type air cleaner was bad. ($85 in 1970s money)

How can I persuade my parents?
In our garden we have this really cozy small house that we use as a tool shed. Recently my mom was cleaning up in there, so I saw the house without anything in it, and I got an idea – I’d LOVE to have it as my bedroom!

But my parents say that it would cost too much to warm it up in the winter and blah blah blah. I don’t think they’re open for the idea, but I’m serious when I say that it would mean so much to me. I’ve already thought about where my stuff could go and so on. It’s really my dream, my ambition to get to have my room there 😛
So I told my parents that if I could move out there, they could tear down my sister’s and my room since our rooms are next to the living room and my sister is soon going to move out, so we could get a gigantic living room – and I could get the room I wanted. And the tools could be somewhere in the gigantic living room, so what’s the problem?
But my parents are sooo difficult to persuade. I made a list for them about why it would actually be easy and good for all of us if I moved out there, but they just laughed at me after they read it.
The house is a bit smaller than my current room, but I don’t care about the size of the room at all. And there IS space for my bed, I checked.
My dad says that it would be too expensive to use the heatspreader in the winter and that I would regret that I moved out there. Any alternatives to a heatspreader? Maybe a radiator or something, I don’t know if it’s cheaper.
– The people who lived here before us used the house as a kids room, so it can’t have been that cold out there!
PLEASE give me some ideas on how to persuade them, it would mean so much to me!
I don’t think it would be weird at all, the “house” is very close to the real house and I usually don’t go to the bathroom in the middle of the night – and no matter if I’m outside or inside, going to the bathroom at night is always creepy 😛
raina vissora: Obviously, you didn’t read my entire post. People HAVE lived in there, and it’s not a playhouse. It’s being used as a tool shed, therefore is there paint and spilled liquid on the floor. There is not a leak. There aren’t bugs (since it’s not a playhouse and believe it or not it has some isolation), and cooling it down in the summer is the least thing to worry about in Denmark where the weather is the same spring, summer and autumn 😉
Stop talking to me like I’m 5 years old. Why do you say that I want to move away from my parents? I never thought of it like that.
My parents always wanted to tear down the walls when my sister moved out, so we’d have to do that anyway. But if we could then also tear down my wall now that we’re at it, the living room could be even bigger.

Haha omg we have the same thing and I’ve always wanted to do that as well. There are a few problems in the winter it would be really cold and in the summer very hot. Say you have to use the bathroom you would have to walk all the way back to your house, and when you take a shower unless you change in your house I get dressed in my room haha you would have to walk back and forth. It would be cool how bout just like a hangout room or something, that’s what I ended up doing.
