Most “Powerful” Hip-Hop lines?

In your opinion, what hip-hop lines really just hit you, or just made the song.

for me it would be

“he was staring into the eyes of his own mother”-Immortal Tech. Dance with the devil–It just made the song.

“I will not grow old in salems lot” eminem- lose yourself– the way he delivers that line just hit me, and made me feel for rabbit

“i even got a tattoo with your name across my chest” eminem- stan– that line show how crazy stan is, and the way the beat sorta drops when he says it makes it oh so better

“Dont talk about my moms yo” Madvillan- All Caps– The line just makes me laugh =)

Can Christians be punk or emo?

OK, so I know the first response is probably a big fat no, but I want people to think about this. If Christiandom is basically half man-made, than how do we define the great line? I grew up in Sunday school, so don’t try to convert me. I’m already there. I mean, churches make up their own rules based on what they believe is truth. The only basis for going to heaven is believing that Christ died and rose again in three days and giving your life to Him. If that’s the only requirement, then why do people judge others so much? The Bible even says that the “one without sin” can cast the first stone. If that’s true, then why do the self-righteous think it’s their job to determine who goes to Hell? As many know, there is Christian rock, punk, and hip hop. What is your personal view or conviction about listening to this music or making it? Also, I realize that we are called to a higher standard of living once we give our life to Christ, but non church goers are NOT another species.

Match 1: The Revolution (Edgeucator and Justin Windgate) vs The Top Chart Mob (Scene and Punk) vs Johnny Chaos and E&C Connection

In a fantastic way to start off GCW, this match featured 3 of the most promising tag teams in YWWA today. The newly formed Edgeucator and Justin, Scene and Punk who just got over their differences on Breakdown, and the new pairing of Chaos and E&C. Each team had their respected goals they needed to reach in a win tonight. Scene and Chaos started off the battle. They locked up but Scene soon broke away from it by delivering some hard knife edge chops to Chaos. Chaos’s chest was growing red and Scene added a knee to the gut to keep Chaos in pain. He then went right back to his chops backing Chaos into the corner. But the corner happened to be the advantage for Chaos and he reversed a chop and threw Scene into the corner where he started unwhaling some chops. Only his chops were at extremely quick speeds making Scene slump down against the turnbuckle. Justin then saw his opportunity and tagged himself in off the back of Chaos. Chaos was forced to the apron and Justin hopped over the ropes and before even touching the mat he extended his legs out to dropkick Scene in the gut as he sat up against the bottom turnbuckle pad. Fans didn’t care for Justin but some managed to applaud that impressive move. Justin saw he did what he wanted to do and tagged his partner Edgeucator in right away. Edgeucator came running in fast and Scene put him down with a hip toss. Scene then made a tag to himself to his partner Punk and Punk came in with some sharp kicks the side of Edgeucator followed by a DDT. He went for the pin and at 2 Justin made it in to save his partner. Punk ordered the ref to put Justin back on the apron and with his back turned Edgeucator was able to get up and hit Punk with a running neckbreaker. The same move Justin did on Breakdown to RVD. Edgeucator went to tag Justin back in and Chaos decided to tag himself in off of Punk to get back in as well. He came in with a head full of steam and so did Justin. Justin gained 1st momentum by kicking the legs of Chaos leaving him a kick away from falling into the clutches of Justin. But Chaos reversed an attempted kick to the leg into a drop toehold on Justin. Chaos dropped a few elbows to the spine until Justin nipped up and went right back on offense swinging with hard striking punches and jabs. Chaos was now daggering and when Justin swung for a wild right Chaos ducked it and hit him with a snap suplex to continue on this very back and forth match. Chaos then actually tagged Punk in with a hard and disrespectful slap to the chest of him. Fans cheered Chaos for doing that to a man fans could not stand. Punk came in and delivered his signature kicks to Justin as well. With a kicking war starting to take place Punk was definitely getting the better of Justin. He backed Justin into the corner with his kicks. Soon it looked like Justin would be put away until he dodged 1 kick and trapped Punk in the corner. Now Justin went with fast and furious kicks to every inch of Punk’s body. Some cheered and some booed. Then he clotheslined Punk into the corner smushing him in between, and then sent him down with a monkey flip. Justin’s confidence was growing and now he set Punk up for his own move. A GTS Justin called the SYM a.k.a. the Shut Your Mouth. But when on his shoulders Punk pulled himself down and delivered his signature swift kick to the skull of Justin. Justin fell to the mat and Punk tagged in Scene. The Mob finally started to look like a team. Scene pulled up Justin and hit him with a scoop slam. He pulled him up again and held him in the air for a giant suplex. Then he dragged Justin toward his corner and tagged Punk in. Punk scaled the top rope as Scene held Justin down as Punk hit a perfect top rope legdrop. Punk went for the pin. 1, 2, and then E&C rushed in and broke the count. But he didn’t just leave after. He stayed on Punk unleashing punch after punch. Soon Scene entered in the ring and Chaos joined in and threw Scene over the top rope. Then Edgeucator made it a full out war by joining in as well! All hell was breaking loose courtesy of E&C. Justin vaulted over the top rope and hit a body press onto Scene on the outside. Justin got on the apron to enter the ring again but then E&C knocked him off the apron and onto Scene. Then Chaos backed all the way up as Scene and Justin were getting to their feet on the outside. Then Chaos ran and dove over the ropes to hit a flipping sentom knocking them both down! Fans went wild and chanted for Chaos at that moment. E&C watched on from on the apron and Edgeucator knocked him off the apron to spoil his time. But when he turned around Punk was up and hoisted him high for a GTS which hit! He went for the pin; 1, 2, 3! Finally The Mob pulled together as a team and got a huge victory showing the other 2 teams why they were superior in a fantastic contest.

Winners: The Top Chart Mob
