BEST Roll-Your-Own tobaccos..?
I like natural stuff with not chemicals or additives, so i put up the following to review because i have access to them, but if u have other natural ones then put em down and compare to the ones i provided…..
Bali Shag (Halfzware) – the Blue tin can/pouch
Natural American Spirit U.S. Grown – Blue tin can/pouch
Natural American Spirit Original Blend – Cyan tin can/pouch
N.A.S. Perique – – Black tin can/pouch
please compare them as to:
taste, enjoyment, buzz, harshness, ingredients, experience, etc… AND TRY TO COMPARE ONE TO ANOTHER PLEASE, NOT JUST ONE IN PARTICULAR.
and please no comments such as “stop smoking, or smoking kills, etc..). i make my own decisions thank you.
and ps… im not a chronic smoker, maybe 5-7 cigs per week. so take that into consideration too. Oh and i love Djarum Black…the ones that are illegal now in U.S.

Out of the ones you listed, I’ve only smoked the Bali Blue. It is an excellent halfzware. However, if you live in the US, it has been discontinued. If you want it, get it if you still can. Bali has a lot of toppings and NAS doesn’t. Bali is a fine cut shag which holds moisture better than an additive-free tobacco would (one complaint from people that smoke NAS is that it tends to dry out faster).
For taste, Bali Shag is one of the best on the market. But if you have to have a tobacco without toppings, this isn’t the tobacco for you. Bali has a good nicotine hit. I’ve smoked stronger tobaccos but this one is fairly strong too. The taste of a halfzware is very different from other tobaccos.
The only Perique that I’ve smoked was by Drum (I’m smoking one now). Perique has a unique taste. It’s a dark tobacco, high in nicotine, with a bit of a twang (almost a light vinegar taste). I wouldn’t want to smoke any brand of Perique as a daily smoke but it’s nice for an occasional smoke. I think that the Drum Perique has more nicotine than Bali Blue. Also, the Drum Perique has less of an aftertaste (maybe because it has less toppings?)
I prefer halfzwares so I’m biased towards the Bali Blue. However, it has a little too much topping for me to smoke every day. I prefer a dark, strong halfzware with very few toppings and a “clean” aftertaste. My daily smoke is Ryback. It’s a halfzware with very few toppings. Another halfzware that I liked was Samson but this is becoming hard to find. Peter Stokkebye makes a halfzware called Amsterdam Shag that is excellent but it has a lot of toppings. Like the Bali, it is a very fine cut shag. It has a nice nicotine hit and is one of the best tobaccos that I’ve ever smoked.
Since I like the halfzwares, I also like a good fullzware. Where a halfzware is half fire-cured Kentucky and half flue-cured Virginia or Oriental, a fullzware is all fire-cured Kentucky. RYOT carried an excellent fullzware but they discontinued it. I think that Lookout still makes a fullzware but that can be hard to find. A good fullzware has a great nicotine hit. RYOT’s fullzware would make me sit back and say “Whoa” after half the cigarette—and I’ve been smoking for almost 30 years!
None of the tobaccos that I’ve mentioned are harsh. They are all smooth. I don’t smoke harsh tobaccos. I have heard that NAS can be a bit harsh (partly due to the tendency to dry out) but as I’ve already said, I haven’t smoked it. This link will help you with reviews on NAS. Should the United States Legalize Marijuana?
ok first of all..i think this would help our economy out..i mean the only reason the government wont legalize it is because they can’t put a tax on it because you can grow your own..but people can grow their own beer.. and people can grow their own tobacco..even though its probably a longer process..but still if the government legalizes marijuana they can tax it which leads to another item on the market and since soo many people smoke it, it would bring in loads of money and maybe offer more jobs…to me this seems like a solution to our declining economy.

i pretty much agree with everyone on here except the inconsiderate people who dont understand anything…people make weed wayy too big of a deal.
And for the Marijuana myth..its completely ridiculous. How can you sit here and tell me that its gonna make yur kids make stupid decisions, become fat, and become unsuccessful.
i have smoked weed..i can say that i have kept straight a’s and a good head on my shoulders.. hows that unsuccessful? thanks for yalls time and opinions..

Yes, if they legalized it, it would cut down on organize crime because drug dealers and gangs wouldn’t make profit from it as you can get hooked up legit by the government. A lot of people would not be in jail/prison over a harmless flower. But in reality, it wont because the government makes tons of money off of people on probation and fines, also think of the lawsuits, lawyers sueing you because you hit them while driving and their was weed in your system (it last the longest in body out of any other drug…i wonder why your body doesn’t care that THC is in your body unlike coke and meth and heroin which is out in at least 72 hours?) but who knows, i heard 60% of america smokes weed, so maybe the gov’ment can make a tax stamp like they were suppose to in the 1930’s when the made it illegal, and make bank off it.

I myself am a 14 year old girl and I’m noticing that kids my age are smoking weed and hookah thing. Wtf is wrong with our society! It’s fuxked up. Its sad how none of their parents know about this. I would never smoke because it shortens life span 10 minutes. Which is sad. It darkens your lips making you look ugly, gives you dirty teeth, gives you bad breath(smoke-breath) as if you ate fire, damage your lungs which may lead to breathing problem later, leads to loss of your healthy weight, may cause fire out-break especially during the dry season, goes hand-in-hand with alcoholic addiction, each stick you smoke shorten your life span by 10 minutes, health hazard to other people- family, friends, colleagues. ( I found this on Google )
That makes me think twice about smoking. And my mom and older sister always tell me. “Bad influences make you do bad things, at points. If you ever come home smelling like smoke or if you ever try to smoke, you will never be permitted to come back home since you’re all grown up to make your own decision to start smoking as if you were an adult which your not. Now you are on your own. ” I always think in the back of my head, should i smoke and lose respect form my parents or do I want parents?
