Where can you obtain gardening supplies in the Sims 3?
I know that in the Sims 2, you could just purchase plants and all that good stuff in the Buy section. I can’t seem to find the plants or seeds in the Sims 3. Do I have to purchase them at a special store or something? Thank you! 🙂

You can go to the grocery store and buy fruit and then when its in your inventory you will have the option to plant it. Also, you can take a gardening class a the science lab and it will give you seeds for some different plants.

Have you, or any other gardeners you know, bought any of your supplies online? What type of supplies are you likely to buy online and what would you rather just go to the local store for?

I’ve bought online on Ebay. Seedling heat mats, seed trays, rooting hormones, plant markers, etc. You need to compare what’s out there–and price your products competitively. My daughter sells on Ebay and does quite well (not gardening supplies).
