What more efficient way to prevent Mankind attaining Everlasting Life than to present a Dead-End “Easy Path?”?

Mankind was not ejected from The Garden of Eden because they sinned, but because they might eat The Fruit of The Tree of Life and so live for ever.

. GENESIS 3:22-24.

22. And The LORD God said,
“Behold, the Man is become as one of Us,
to know Good and Evil:
and now, lest he put forth his hand,
and take also of The Tree of Life,
and eat, and live for ever:”
23. Therefore the LORD God
sent him forth from The Garden of Eden,
to till the ground from whence he was taken.
24. So he drove out the Man;
and he placed at the East of The Garden of Eden Cherubims,
and a Flaming Sword which turned every way,
to keep The Way of The Tree of Life.

Therefore, any effort by Man to regain what was lost might be expected to be met with, if not outright sabotage, a certain… lack of Divine cooperation?

. GENESIS 11:3-9.

3. And they said one to another,
“Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly.”
And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.
4. And they said,
“Go to, let us build us a city and a tower,
whose top may reach unto Heaven;
and let us make us a Name,
lest we be scattered abroad upon the Face of the whole Earth.”
5. And The LORD came down to see the City and the Tower,
which the Children of Men builded.
6. And The LORD said,
“Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language;
and this they begin to do:
and now nothing will be restrained from them,
which they have imagined to do.
7. “Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language,
that they may not understand one another’s speech.”
8. So The LORD scattered them abroad from thence
upon the face of all the Earth: and they left off to build the City.
9. Therefore is the name of it called Babel;
because the LORD did there confound the language of all the Earth:
and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad
upon the Face of all the Earth.

Never to suggest that Our Loving Creator does not always know best-

. GENESIS 6:7.

7. And The LORD said,
“I will destroy Man whom I have created from the Face of the Earth;
both Man, and Beast, and the Creeping Thing,
and the Fowls of the Air;
for it repenteth Me that I have made them.”

God would, of course never lie to us, nor mislead us with incomplete information, would He now- because that would be, um. (What’s that Word?) EVIL?

. PROVERBS 6:16-19.

16. These six things doth the LORD hate:
yea, seven are an abomination unto Him:
17. A Proud Look,
a Lying Tongue,
and hands that shed Innocent Blood,
18. An heart that deviseth Wicked Imaginations,
feet that be swift in Running to Mischief,
19. A False Witness that speaketh lies,
and he that Soweth Discord among Brethren.

. PROVERBS:26:24-28.

24. He that hateth dissembleth with his lips,
and layeth up deceit within him;
25. When he speaketh fair, believe him not:
for there are seven abominations in his heart.
26. Whose hatred is covered by deceit,
his wickedness shall be shewed
before the whole Congregation.
27. Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein:
and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.
28. A lying tongue hateth those that are afflicted by it;
and a flattering mouth worketh ruin.

Jesus Promised us Everlasting Life- did a good job of demonstrating that he could deliver.
Then Something Happened- Something that we knew was Impossible, but it happened anyway:

. MARK 4:33-34.

33. And with many such Parables
spake he the word unto them,
as they were able to hear it.
34. But without a Parable spake he not unto them:
and when they were alone,
he expounded all things to his Disciples.

Jesus delivered The Message, as Ordered- but he encoded it- scrambled it- so that the only people who could ever understand it would be those who didn’t need it.

. MATTHEW 13:10-23.

10. And the disciples came, and said unto him,
“Why speakest thou unto them in parables?”
11. He answered and said unto them,
“Because it is given unto you to know
The Mysteries of The Kingdom of Heaven,
but to them it is not given.
12. “For whosoever hath, to him shall be given,
and he shall have more abundance:
but whosoever hath not,
from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
13. “Therefore speak I to them in Parables:
because they seeing see not;
and hearing they hear not,
neither do they understand.
14. “And in them is fulfilled the Prophecy of Esaias, which saith,
‘By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand;
and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
15. ‘For this people’s heart is waxed gross,
and their ears are dull of hearing,
and their eyes they have closed;
lest at any time they should see with their eyes
and hear with their ears,
and should understand with their heart,
and should be converted, and I should heal them.’ ”
So you see that Jesus followed the same Genesis Pattern of Immortality Prevention?
We see the Division of Brethren- who should be comrades together- by driving a wedge between those who could decipher riddles, and those who couldn’t. Giving those who did understand the Temptation to nobble their “competition,” rather than cooperate to help those perceived as weaker. We see Jesus dissemble The Truth to his Disciples, until the time he had to tell them that The Master Plan all along was that they would be made to share Heaven with the despised Gentiles (John 14-17).

my project is really about personal difficulties or hassles that affect a garden user directly… things that you physically dislike doing or find inconvenient to carry out.

For example: keeping beers cold when mates are round, picking up what your dog curls out, or getting the football out of the hedge.

Imagine a typical day in the garden… perhaps you’re hosting a bbq, having a water fight, or simply sitting with your feet up enjoying a brew.

What problem are you likely to face… and what could be done about it? I want to know how peoples lives can be made easier or more enjoyable- that’s my angle.

A couple of other examples are things like flies on your food, sun glare in your eyes, spilling your drink etc.

Please list anything garden related that’s a reluctant obligation or that you feel could be made easier some how- don’t be shy, anything is absolutely fine. If it gets on YOUR nerves, it gets on others’. Just brainstorming absolutely everything you can think of will be enormously helpful.
