What is the best way to build a raised garden bed? ?
I finally have a yard after moving into my first house and I am interested in growing a garden when it gets warmer. What are the best materials, tips, or plants that would be best for my project?
I heard that growing marigolds with your veggies will combat bugs, is this true? Are there any other flowers that do this too?

To build a raised veggie garden make sure to use a non pressure treated wood….pine will do. Do not use old railway ties as they are riddled with chemicals.
If you are building this garden above turf make sure to remove the turf before continuing. Leaving the turf will cause it to break down in turn stealing nitrogen from the soil above, therefore stunting the growth of your garden.

Marigolds are a natural way of combating pests in the garden…heck have you ever smelled one? They keep me away too! There are other organic means of keeping pests away too.
Keep your garden away from ‘Black Walnut’ trees as well as they will poison the soil stunting the growth of your garden.

What color scheme for summer garden wedding?
Our wedding is next July. We’re getting married in a church, then our reception is outdoors under a tent in a large garden. What colors scheme do you like best that fits the summer garden type theme?
1) Calypso blue with blue flowers
2) Gray bridesmaids with bright pink bouquets

Personally, I think could be done really well.
If I had to pick one for a summer garden theme, I’d probably go with the gray and pink simply because there are a lot more flowers in shades of pink than in blue. (Blue flowers are beautiful though!)
If you want to try to envision how your colors would work, try going to the perfect palette blog. I LOVE that blog and she puts together just about every color combination you can imagine! (And there are at least four or five inspiration boards specifically for pink and gray!) http://www.theperfectpaletteblog.com/
If you click on Colors, select the gray circle. It will be easier to find pink and gray searching through all of the gray color combinations because there are far more pink boards than gray boards, I believe.

In the facebook game Astro Garden, what are good ways to make cash?
Also how do I know which seeds or crops to sell? i wish someone had a helpful blog about this game like they do for country life ones.
The game is called Astro Garden. It has nothing to do with farmville, it is a totally different game.

Log on to your Farmville profile. If you do not already have a Farmville profile, add this application to your Facebook through the applications page. Once Farmville is on your profile, create your character and log into the game.

Click on the ribbons button at the bottom right hand side of the Farmville page. This will bring up a list of ribbons that you can earn by completing certain objectives on Farmville. Every time you earn a ribbon on Farmville, you will earn Farmville cash.

Click on the Add Farm Coins & Cash button at the top of your Farmville profile. You can purchase Farmville cash on this page. These are the only ways to earn Farmville cash. Many people do not want to spend real money on Farmville cash so earning ribbons is the best way to earn Farmville cash.
